The higher the odds, the less likely the bookmaker considers that outcome — and the higher the potential return. A team with low odds is called the 'favourite'. If Team B's odds are 1.25, a ৳500 bet returns only ৳625 (৳125 profit). Chasing big returns by taking big risks is best avoided.
